Light Filtering Blinds and Shades

Adding light-filtering window treatments to your home transforms harsh sunlight into a softer light, reduces glare, and protects your possessions from fading.

Many shades filter out at least 75% of the sun’s harmful UV rays when installed over double-glazed glass windows. Some products and fabrics provide even greater protection, up to 99%, when the window treatment is fully lowered or closed.

Other window treatments – such as Pirouette® window shadings and Silhouette® window shadings – not only allow you to filter light but also to redirect it. These shades have vanes that can be positioned to deflect and direct sunlight precisely where you want it.
